Kremlin tells which regions in Ukraine they plan to seize

For a year and a half now, Russia has been waging a war of conquest against Ukraine.

Kremlin speaker Dmitriy Peskov has said that Russia wants to occupy Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions because "this is what is written in the Russian constitution". He said this in a commentary for the New York Times.

Russia has no plans to occupy other territories of Ukraine", except for those written in the Russian constitution," he said.

He pointed out that Moscow considers those regions that are already written down as "its own" in the main document of the Russian Federation as "its own" and wants to seize these territories completely.

We would like to point out that after the occupation of part of the Ukrainian territory, the Russian regime amended its constitution by appropriating Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions. At the same time, the Kremlin does not hesitate to hold false referendums and threaten those people who refuse to take Russian passports.
