Residents of Kherson donate blood en masse for victims of enemy strike

People in Kherson who survived another attack yesterday are queuing to donate blood for the victims of the Russian shelling on 24 December, the deputy head of the presidential office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said on Telegram.

He wrote: "This is Kherson. Blood donation centres. Queues of people who want to donate and save the victims of yesterday's terror attack in the city. People are willing to stand in line all day to be saved. This is the superpower of Ukrainians."

Every able-bodied citizen over 18 years of age who has no contraindications to blood donation and has undergone a special medical examination can become a blood donor. Blood and blood components can only be donated on a voluntary basis.
