Ukraine imposed sanctions against the airline in 2021.

This was reported by European Pravda with reference to the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia.

It is about the Russian airline Red Wings.

The Georgian government has given permission for flights from Sochi to Tbilisi, and from Moscow to Kutaisi. The flights will operate three times a week.

Ukraine imposed sanctions against Red Wings in 2021. The reasons were flights to occupied Crimea.

It should be recalled that Russia abolished visa regime for Georgian citizens and launched flights to Georgia.

Red Wings became the third airline to be allowed to operate flights between Russia and Georgia.
