In Berlin at the central railway station until 10 September a photo exhibition that shows the daily work of Ukrainian railway workers during the war will continue.
This is a joint project of Deutsche Bahn AG and the FUNKE media group. This is reported by the Centre for Transport Strategies.
A series of photos in the spring of 2023 was taken by photographer Reto Clare and journalist Jan Jessen. The centre of attention is Ukrzaliznytsia, which has become one of the symbols of resilience of the Ukrainian people.
We stand firmly on the side of our Ukrainian colleagues. What they do every day commands our utmost respect. They ensure that the country works. Despite countless Russian attacks on routes and stations - transport continues, Deutsche Bahn commented.
The German railway concern said that after Berlin, the photo exhibition will also be shown in Essen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Braunschweig and Nuremberg.
