Ukrainian soldiers advanced in the Zaporizhzhya region, as well as south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region.



The Ukrainian defence forces have killed about 268,630 Russian military personnel during the full-scale war, including 490 just yesterday, 9 September. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 10.09.23 tentatively amounted to:

  • personnel - about 268,630 (+490) eliminated;
  • tanks - 4554 (+10) units;
  • armoured combat vehicles - 8755 (+16) units;
  • artillery systems - 5,811 (+22) units;
  • MLRS - 760 (+3) units;
  • air defence systems - 509 (+1) units;
  • aircraft - 315 (+0) units;
  • helicopters - 316 (+0) units;
  • UAVs of operational-tactical level - 4,593 (+5) units;
  • cruise missiles - 1,455 (+0) units;
  • ships/boats - 19 (+0) units;
  • vehicles and tankers - 8338 (+40) units;
  • special vehicles - 872 (+2) units.

In total, over 30 combat clashes between Ukrainian soldiers and Russian occupants took place over the past 24 hours. Also, the enemy launched two missile and 40 air strikes, made more than 38 shellings from multiple rocket launchers both on the positions of our troops and civilian objects.

We would like to add that Ukraine does not disclose data on losses among its servicemen. Information about the number of Ukrainian fighters killed will remain closed until the end of martial law.
