Ukrainians forced to evacuate to Poland are entitled to reimbursement for the purchase of medicines under the same conditions as Poles.
This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
In order for a Ukrainian to receive reimbursement for medicines, he or she must have:
- a prescription from a doctor;
- pESEL number;
- a document confirming the border crossing not earlier than 24 February 2022.
The list of reimbursable medicines is updated monthly. The complete and up-to-date list can be found here.
Only pharmacies that have a signed contract with the National Health Fund (NFZ) of Poland can receive reimbursable medicines or buy them at a discount.
