Ukrainian border guards told how many "Wagnerites" are located on the territory of Belarus

The Ukrainian Defence Forces take into account the deployment of Russian mercenaries on the territory of Belarus.
A total of about 5,000 Russian mercenaries of the PMC Wagner are on the territory of neighbouring Belarus. This is reported bythe State Border Service of Ukraine.
The State Border Service of Ukraine continues to closely monitor the situation with the arrival and stay of Russian mercenaries in Belarus.
I would like to note that the situation along the border line remains fully controlled by border units and other components of the defence forces of our state. They have all been warned about further risks that may come from the territory of Belarus, which, unfortunately, is under the influence of Russia and provides support in the war unleashed against Ukraine," said the speaker of the State Security Service of Ukraine, Colonel Andrei Demchenko.
He noted that the number of Russian mercenaries was gradually growing and noted that the borders in the north and directly with Belarus had been seriously reinforced.
We would like to point out that the training ground where the Wagnerites are based is located almost 40 km from the Ukrainian border and about 30 km from the border with Poland.
