Ukraine's GUR tells about its special operation in Pokrovsk

The forces of the "Special Unit Timur", the GUR of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry continues a special operation on the territory of Pokrovsk, there are active battles. About it tells the Main Directorate of intelligence of Ukraine in Telegram.

Earlier it was reported, according to the media and social networks, that last week special forces of the Main Directorate of Intelligence were sent to Pokrovsk in Donetsk region in order to stabilise the situation. The operation was personally led by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, and footage of him near Pokrovsk went viral on social networks.

Before this, Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin assured publicly that Pokrovsk was already under Russian control and even invited foreign journalists to visit it, which was perceived as a provocation and a lie.
