Ukraine returns bodies of 44 more dead servicemen

The bodies of the dead defenders were handed over. The bodies of 44 servicemen were returned to Ukraine.
This was reported by the Commissioner for Missing Persons under Special Circumstances, Oleh Kotenko.
Today, the bodies of 44 defenders have been returned and handed over to their relatives.
According to the Commissioner, the process of returning the bodies of the dead servicemen continues. It takes place by the norms defined by the Geneva Convention.
The repatriation of bodies from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine took place with the assistance of the Ministry of Reintegration, the Commissioner for Missing Persons in cooperation with the Joint Centre under the SBU, the Central Department of the AFU, other law enforcement agencies, departments and international organisations, - Kotenko added.
