Ukraine exchanges one UOC MP priest for 28 defenders - SBU chief

During the prisoner-of-war exchange, the Ukrainian side dismissed 28 Ukrainian defenders, swapping them for one cleric of the Moscow Patriarchate.
The head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk, said this in an interview withInterfax-Ukraine.
According to him, Russia highly values its agents in the Ukrainian church.
And I would like to stress that the enemy very much appreciates its agents in cassocks - yes, one such person was exchanged for 28 Ukrainian servicemen," the SBU chief said.
Malyuk noted that Ukrainian courts have already handed down several sentences to supporters of the Moscow Patriarchate.
As a result, criminal proceedings have been launched against 61 clerics. In total, courts have already issued seven verdicts against individual clerics who sided with the enemy," the speaker said.
We shall remind you that the eviction of the UOC MP from Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is still ongoing in Kiev. Recently, the Culture Ministry showed how pro-Russian priests treated the ancient state property.
