A grade 5 pupil in Melitopol sang the Ukrainian anthem in front of the occupiers

The invaders force children to sing the Russian national anthem in schools.
In Russian-occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhya Region, a fifth grader sang the Ukrainian anthem when schoolchildren were forced to sing the Russian anthem. This was reported by the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, in a national TV marathon.
Last week, the invaders forced students to sing the Russian national anthem. However, one fifth grader sang the native "Ukraine is not dead yet," he reported.
According to him, the boy's parents were summoned to the school and the commandant's office for a talk.
Fedorov noted that the children who remained in the city were forced to go to the occupation schools. However, many residents of Melitopol are waiting for the city to be liberated by Ukrainian troops.
We would like to point out that Russia brought its teachers to Melitopol. Many of them come from Dagestan and speak broken Russian themselves. They also complain that children do not want to speak to them in Russian.
