Kyivans will have the country's main Christmas tree, but without illumination

The capital's New Year's Eve tree will be 10 metres tall.
The head of Folk Ukraine company, Igor Dobrutskyy, said this in a commentary on Kyiv Vecherniy.
Dobrutskyy's company is installing a Christmas tree at St. Sophia Square. This year the tree will be unlit.
The central Christmas tree of the capital will be 10 meters in height. The funds for the installation will be provided exclusively by philanthropists and businesses. In addition, the tree will be artificial.
Among additional decorations there will be a nativity scene and a divot.
Earlier, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said that the city will be decorated with festive decorations, but there will be no mass festivities.
