Tusk said the next few weeks will be crucial
In Europe, they expect that the situation on the front could get tougher.
The next weeks will be decisive "not only for the war itself, but also for our future," Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on social network X.
At the same time, Tusk pointed out that Russia's attacks on Ukraine are escalating and noted that last night Polish planes were put in the sky because of the danger from Russia.
Tusk emphasised that no one will stop Putin with phone calls.
The attack last night, one of the biggest in this war, proved that telephone diplomacy can not replace the real support of the whole West for Ukraine," wrote Tusk.
We will remind, 15 November German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Russian President Vladimir Putin held the first telephone conversation in two years. In particular, the head of the German government condemned Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine and called on the head of the Kremlin to put an end to it and withdraw troops. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called this call by Scholz a "Pandora's box".
