Russian cargo ship Zhibek Zholy left Turkey with stolen Russian grain
This is reported by the European Pravda publication, citing a statement by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
The Turkish authorities released the Russian cargo ship Zhibek Zholy, which arrived with a cargo of grain from occupied Berdyansk.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry sent a request to the Turkish government with a request to arrest the Russian vessel. But on July 6, in the evening, ignoring the Ukrainian request, the ship was released.
The Foreign Ministry noted that in connection with the current unacceptable situation, the Turkish ambassador to Kyiv was invited to the department.
At the end of June, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that Ankara takes seriously reports of Russia's illegal export of grain from Ukraine and will not allow its import into its territory.
