Trump stripped Biden of his ability to view classified information

Former U.S. presidents have access to certain classified information.
US President Donald Trump announced the cancellation of Joe Biden's security clearance and the termination of daily intelligence reports for him. About this writes The Guardian.
It is noted that there is nothing new in Trump's actions and they are a response to Biden's actions in 2021. Then he became president and closed access to classified information for Trump, but did so after Trump supporters went to storm the Capitol, trying thus to challenge the results of the presidential election in the United States.
Biden has no need to read classified documents. Therefore, we immediately close it to him and he will not receive daily reports from the secret service," Trump wrote in social network.
Note, former presidents traditionally have access to certain intelligence material even after the end of their term.
Recall, in 2022 in the unauthorised storage of classified documents was accused at that time former President Trump. So, in October, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted a search in the house of the ex-president. Agents seized about 13 thousand documents, 103 of which were classified, and 18 under the "secrecy" stamp. Presumably, they could contain intelligence on China and Iran. Trump denied guilt but was charged with illegal possession of classified material. The court eventually dismissed the charges, recognising the appointment of the special prosecutor who brought them forward as illegal.
