He demanded money from a military man: a company commander was caught on a bribe in Vinnitsa region

This was reported by the specialised prosecutor's office for defence in the southern region.

A company commander who demanded an undue benefit from a subordinate serviceman has been exposed in Vinnytsya Region. He was reported on suspicion under part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, the captain, with the purpose of illegal personal enrichment, demanded an undue benefit in the amount of 56 thousand UAH from a subordinate serviceman performing tasks in the combat zone, - stated in the message.

The commander promised for this money not to report to the top management about the lack of things subordinate to the sergeant and not to initiate an official investigation into this matter.

The attacker was detained while receiving the second part of the bribe in the amount of UAH 46 thousand. Earlier he received 10 thousand from the wife of a subordinate serviceman.

At the moment, the commander is under 24-hour house arrest and has been informed of suspicion.
