The number of Ukrainians killed in Israel has grown
As a result of Hamas attack on Israel, the death toll of Ukrainian citizens has risen.
This was reported by the Israeli ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodskyy, on Twitter (X).
According to him, the number of dead Ukrainians in Israel has increased to 23 people.
According to the updated report, as a result of the Hamas attack on Israel killed 23 citizens of Ukraine. This is the second number of foreigners killed in the attack after the United States," the ambassador said.
Recall, militants of the Islamic movement Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October. The terrorists penetrated into the territory of Israel, seizing military bases and taking both soldiers and civilians prisoner. Hundreds of rockets were also fired at Israeli cities.
The Israel Defence Forces launched a retaliatory operation.
At the moment, the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from Israel has been organised. The refugees will be sheltered in Romania. In total, there are more than 1000 Ukrainians on the territory of Israel, who have informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about their desire to leave the country.
In addition, it is known that there are almost 260 Ukrainians on the territory of the Gaza Strip.
