The Ministry of Social Policy told how they will pay subsidies in connection with the war

The government is considering the option of paying subsidies through the Pension Fund.
This was stated by the Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovich during the telethon.
Now we are working on mechanisms for their centralized payment, including through the Pension Fund, so that every person who, for one reason or another - for example, the failure of social protection departments, can apply and so that we can calculate her subsidy, so that in this way everyone unprotected was able to survive this winter, - emphasized Oksana Zholnovich.
The minister assured that there are funds in the budget for subsidies.
We expect approximately the same number of subsidies as last year, which is 2.6 million. Perhaps there will be a little more, but we are counting on such a number. And the money for the increase and for the payment of subsidies is budgeted, so they will be paid in full,” Zholnovich said.
At the same time, an expert on housing and communal services, Oleg Popenko, said that there was no money in the budget for subsidies.
We have 39 billion in subsidies set aside for this year, plus 42.6 billion left over. Taking into account the fact that we have lost 5 million jobs, that is, these are people who do not have jobs, and 8 million internally displaced persons, at least half of these people will require subsidies. That is, the amount of subsidies for this year is needed at least 80-90 billion. This money is not in the budget, - Oleg Popenko emphasized.
Popenko also stressed that, according to his rough estimates, the debt for the communal apartment has exceeded 130 billion.
