- The incumbent parliamentarian is on the wanted list

Acting MP Yaroslav Dubinevich, suspected of embezzlement of state property and legalisation of illegal profits, has been put on the wanted list.
This was reported by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
Dubinevych is suspected of organising the embezzlement of natural gas worth over 2.1bn hryvnyas and legalisation of illegally gained profit.
It is worth noting that the MP is the sixth suspect in this case. Dubinevych's actions are qualified under part 3 of Article 27, part 5 of Article 191, part 3 of Article 27, part 5 of Article 191. 5 Art. 191, part 3 Art. 27 part. 3 Art. 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, but he did not come to the bureau to report suspicion.
Case of embezzlement of natural gas
According to the investigation, the MP organised a scheme to take possession of state property during 2013-2017, taking advantage of officials controlled by him Novoyavorivska and Novorazdelska TPP (Lviv region) for a total of more than UAH 2.1 billion.
Under his control, the owners of Novoyavorivska and Novorazdelska CHPPs (Lviv region) signed a number of agreements to purchase natural gas from NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine to produce heat energy for households. In order to reduce the price of heat for this category of consumers, NAK supplied gas to commercial CHPPs at favourable prices, significantly lower than market prices," the NABU said.
However, the favourable gas was obtained illegally, and the perpetrators did not plan to use it for heating the population. They used the natural resource in their own economic activities to produce electricity, which they sold at market prices.
To "launder" the profits, the perpetrators used the accounts of a controlled LLC and non-resident companies, including those registered in the Republic of Cyprus and the Marshall Islands. The money was eventually returned under the guise of foreign investments to finance new businesses in the Lviv region.
