The first shipment of trucks by rail arrived in Poland


It is planned to make the next departures regular and use more modernised platforms.
A consignment of cargo transport from Ukraine was delivered to Poland by railway. Prior to this, the Ukrainian and Polish sides agreed all the issues of transportation and customs and border procedures. This is reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
Further trucks will be sent to the destination point by road.
It is planned to make the next departures regular and use more modernised platforms for transportations.
We would like to point out that UZ has organised a contrailer train between Ukraine and Poland to transport trucks. It is carried out on the route Sknilov (Ukraine) - Slavków (Poland).
We shall remind you that since 6 November on the Ukrainian-Polish border the movement of trucks at three checkpoints has been hampered due to the strike: Krakivets - Korczowa, Rawa-Russkaya - Hrebennoe and Yahodin - Dorohusk. More than three thousand trucks are queuing.
