In the temporarily occupied Berdyansk, the car of an accomplice of the occupants, who was a member of the election commission "with the right of casting vote", was blown up," Halytsina said.

The explosion took place on Gertsen Street, 117. The explosive device went off after the woman got into her own car. From the injuries she died in hospital.

Halitsina added that Yelena Ilyina was killed in the explosion. She was involved in organising pseudo-elections in temporarily occupied Berdyansk. The son of the deceased is known for actively supporting the invaders at the beginning of the occupation.

According to available information, Ilyina was engaged in the organisation of "elections" in Berdyansk. Her son - Nikita Samoilenko. At the beginning of the occupation he actively supported the Russians, distinguished himself by public speeches and became widely known. The former caretaker got a position in the administration of the "occupants"," the head of the MVA said.
