Temporarily displaced person in Ukraine may be exempted from paying for housing and utilities

The bill will only apply to wartime periods.
Bill 7507 has been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This document should make it easier for settlers to pay utility bills.
At the moment, the law "On Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons" provides that people must pay utility bills for living in places of compact settlement. And after half a year they will have to pay for accommodation.
Bill 7507 will change this approach. He proposes to fix for the period of martial law:
- gratuitous temporary residence of IDPs in places of their compact settlement;
- gratuitous provision of housing and communal services in places of a compact settlement;
- lift restrictions on the period of free temporary residence of IDPs in places of their compact settlement.
