It has been revealed how many Kiev residents have died in a year of war

This was announced by Kiev mayor Vitaliy Klitschko in an address on the war anniversary.

Among the dead are 5 children. the occupiers damaged more than 800 buildings. in particular, 417 high-rise buildings and 109 private houses, as well as 93 educational institutions. the metro, as a shelter, took up to 66940 Kiev residents at once, and sirens were sounded 680 times.

Klitschko also said 11 multi-storey houses in Kiev had been fully repaired, with another six to be restored within a month.

Klitschko added:

About 800 objects in the city of Kiev, despite the fact that the front line was not in our city, were damaged, destroyed by missile attacks, drones and artillery. 417 are residential buildings. 17 high-rise buildings were damaged very badly, 11 of them have already been repaired. And people have already returned there.
