South Korean intelligence identifies DPRK missile engineer who oversaw Russian missile launch on Ukraine

According to intelligence reports, there are about 11,000 North Korean infantrymen in eastern Russia being trained to fight in Ukraine.
South Korean intelligence has revealed the identity of a North Korean engineer who was at Russian positions near the front line in eastern Ukraine and observed missile launches on Ukrainian territories. This is reported by NHK.
For identification of identity was used facial recognition system. The spies analysed the photo, presumably taken in Donetsk region, and images of a delegation accompanying North Korean leader Kim Jong-in during an inspection of a weapons factory in August last year.
The facial recognition programme found that more than 80 per cent of the appearance of the person in the Ukrainian photo matched an engineer who accompanied Kim to a mobile missile plant last year," the intelligence indicated.

The South Korean intelligence agency considers the confirmation of the presence of a DPRK missile engineer at Russian positions as another proof that North Korea was directly involved in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian intelligence agency, the aggressor country Russia is training about 11,000 soldiers from the DPRK to take part in the war against Ukraine at four Russian training grounds.
