On the night of 17 November, the occupants carried out a massive combined strike on the facilities of Ukraine's energy sector using different types of air, land and sea-based missiles, as well as attack drones.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga has reacted to the massive attack on Ukraine by the enemy. He said that the Russians' attack on Ukraine was a response of Russian President Vladimir Putin to those leaders who had stolen or met with him recently". This he reported on the social network X.

Sibiga stressed that on the night and morning of 17 November, the Russian Federation carried out one of the largest air attacks: drones and missiles attacked cities, sleeping civilians and critical infrastructure.

The Minister emphasised that this shelling is the real war criminal Putin's answer to all those who have called and visited him recently.

We need peace through force, not appeasement - emphasised Andrei Sibiga.

Recall, 15 November Scholz and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation - the first in almost two years. In the German government after the conversation reported that Scholz condemned Russia's war against Ukraine and called on Putin to withdraw troops.

The media also reported that the newly elected head of the White House called Putin, although both Trump himself and Putin denied it.

A total of 210 aerial targets - 120 missiles and 90 UAVs - were detected and escorted, according to preliminary data. The Russians used seven Tu-160 and 16 Tu-95MS strategic bombers, two Tu-22M3 long-range bombers, five Su-34 fighter-bombers, four Su-27 fighters, 10 MiG-31 fighters and four ships carrying cruise missiles for the attack.
