Servicewoman Shura "Yalta" Ryazantseva died: cause of death announced


Ukrainian servicewoman Shura Ryazantseva, call sign Yalta, dies in hospital. She worked as a stylist and costume designer before the full-scale invasion.
The woman was 40 years old. About the death of "Yalta" was reported by her sister Valeria Ryazantseva on 11 June.
'To great regret, Shurochka is no more,' she wrote in facebook.
Shura Ryazantseva served in the 78th separate airborne assault regiment (ODSP).
According to the medical certificate Shura Ryazantseva died of heart failure. About it Suspilnomu Krim told in the press service of the 78th ODSP.
The press service noted that "Yalta" was transferred to another unit. Before the transfer she had only one day left.
Shura Ryazantseva grew up in a military family in Crimea. In 2024, she participated in the Revolution of Dignity. And after the occupation of her native peninsula, she travelled to Crimea with Ukrainian symbols. During the entry Shura got into captivity, where she stayed for 5 days.
At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the woman immediately went to the military enlistment office. She was immediately sent to Gostomel.
Until 24 February 2022, Shura Ryazantseva worked as a stylist and costume designer for Ukrainian TV channels, stars, as well as films.
