Scholz says when Putin will withdraw troops from Ukraine

Scholz urged the West to continue supporting Ukraine in its war with Russia.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that his country will not stop its efforts in supporting Kiev, and called on the West to continue supporting Kiev in its war with Moscow.
This was reported by Reuters.

Scholz pointed out that the main role the West should assume is the role of deterring the aggressor.

The best way to prevent any escalation, including a potential conflict between Russia and NATO is deterrence, Scholz said.

According to Scholz, the war in Ukraine could end the moment Russian President Vladimir Putin decides to withdraw troops from a foreign country.

But he will make this decision only when he realises that he cannot win the war on the battlefield," Scholz pointed out.

Scholz urged the West to invest more in its own security and defence so that no aggressor would think of attacking Europe.

It also means rejecting narrow self-interest and building a strong and European defence industry," Scholz said.

As Reuters notes, Germany has so far provided 28 billion euros in military support to Ukraine.
