Satellite photos of the aftermath of a strike on an airfield in occupied Luhansk have been published. The images were published by Radio Liberty on 28 May.
The satellite photo from 28 May shows traces of a large fire, the video of which was published on social networks the day before.
The place of the fire is located to the north of the runway of the aerodrome. On the photo of the same place from 10 May you can see parts of the radar complex "Nebo-M".
The complex is designed to detect aerodynamic and ballistic objects at medium and high altitudes.
Russian authorities claimed that the fire occurred in the area of "infrastructure facilities of the former higher military aviation school of navigators."
Earlier Socialportal reported that in occupied Luhansk on 20 May, explosions occurred on the territory of the Academy of Internal Affairs, where Russian troops were based.
Also, in Luhansk at night on 4 December, drones attacked an oil depot and started a fire.
