Due to a power cut, the water supply to occupied Donetsk from the Don River has stopped.

The supply of water from the Don-Donbas water pipeline has stopped in occupied Donetsk due to a power cut. This was reported by the Centre for National Resistance (CNR) on 21 July.

The Kremlin's policy continues to deprive residents of the Donetsk agglomeration of water. The Don-Donbass water pipeline built by the occupants is not working," the report says.

Residents of Donetsk have interruptions in water supply, because the water pipeline Seversky Donets - Donbass does not work due to hostilities.

To solve the problem of water supply, the occupants have been building a new water pipeline from the Don for two years, but its capacity has not solved the problem, and water in Donetsk is supplied according to schedules.

In recent days, due to power cuts in Russia, the pumping stations of the newly built canal failed and the water pipeline stopped completely.

It is noted that it takes months to repair it and the water situation in the occupied territories has worsened.

CNM notes that according to international law, the occupier is responsible for ensuring life in the occupied territories.

Earlier Socialportal reported that the troops of the Russian Federation struck at power engineers in Donetsk region. Three people were wounded.
