Sberbank, Rosselkhozbank and Moscow Credit Bank disconnected from SWIFT system
This was stated by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak on his telegram channel.
Sanctions come into force today against three large Russian banks - Sberbank, Rosselkhozbank and the Moscow Credit Bank, disconnected from the SWIFT system, - he said.
Yermak also stressed that it is important that in the seventh package of EU sanctions such restrictions apply to all Russian banks, including Gazprombank.
In addition, Yermak noted that according to Bloomberg, the world's largest banks JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs have suspended transactions to service Russia's debt obligations.
