Russian shelling of Glukhov killed a child

The Russian military shelled the centre of Glukhiv in Sumy Region on the afternoon of 27 July. The Sumy regional prosecutor's office pointed out that a child died during the shelling. We are talking about a 14-year-old boy who died in hospital. A total of 13 people were wounded, among them - 7 children.

Apartment and private houses, an educational institution, a shop and vehicles were damaged.

Prosecutors in co-operation with other law enforcers are documenting the consequences of the shelling.

The fact that the town was shelled was confirmed to Suspilnyy by the head of the Hlukhiv community, Nadiya Vaylo.

There are people in a serious condition," she said.

The Sumy regional military administration said that 12 explosions were recorded on the territory of the city. One woman and one child are in serious condition.

The injured are being provided with the necessary medical care. On the site of the arrivals are working emergency services...Take care of yourself and relatives, follow the rules of safety, - wrote in the OVA.

On the night of 27 July and in the morning, the Russians shelled border areas and settlements of Sumy region 15 times. A total of 60 explosions were recorded. The Yunakivska, Miropolska, Krasnopolska, Bilopolska, Vorozhbyanska and Velikopisarevska communities were under attack.
