Russian attack on residential neighbourhoods in Vyshgorod: one person killed, dozens injured


The number of people injured in the Russian attack on Vyshgorod in the Kiev region has risen to 19, including four children.
This was reported by the Kyiv regional military administration.
According to the latest data, 11 people have been hospitalised. The victims received injuries of varying degrees of severity: burns, shrapnel wounds, injuries to limbs, as well as poisoning by combustion products. All of them are receiving the necessary medical care.
Unfortunately, one man died as a result of the impact. The authorities express their sincere condolences to his family and friends. The fire in the multi-storey building that broke out after the attack has been extinguished. Psychologists and all emergency services are working on the site. Temporary accommodation for evacuated residents is being organised jointly with the local authorities.
According to preliminary information, two more apartment blocks, 14 private houses, an enterprise and seven cars were also damaged in the city.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Vyshgorod had been hit by drones,
He also noted that there were casualties in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, and strikes were carried out in Odessa, Sumy and Kherson regions.
Zelensky emphasised that such attacks occur on a daily basis. This week alone, according to his data, Russia used almost 1,400 attack drones, 1,100 guided aerial bombs and 66 missiles against Ukraine.
Later, a video on which local residents recorded the moment when a Russian drone flew into a residential building in Vyshgorod appeared on social networks.
