Russia updates drone launch record: attacked Ukraine with 188 drones
On the night of 26 November, Russia set a new record for the number of drones launched towards Ukraine, firing 188 drones.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy also used Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Voronezh and Kursk regions. The attack was carried out from various directions, including Orel, Bryansk, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Ukrainska Pravda writes.
According to official data, Ukraine's radio-technical forces detected and escorted 192 aerial targets, of which 4 were ballistic missiles and 188 were drones. Ukraine's air defence shot down 76 drones, including in regions such as Kiev, Cherkasy, Kharkiv and Zaporizhia. 95 drones were lost due to the impact of electronic warfare (EW) by Ukrainian forces, while another 5 UAVs deviated and flew towards Belarus.
Despite the massive attacks, there is no information about casualties and injuries at the moment. However, hits to critical infrastructure, as well as damage to private and apartment buildings in several regions have been recorded. The situation continues to be updated.
This attack is one of the largest in the history of the conflict, demonstrating the increasing pace of drone use in military operations.
