Russia has chosen new targets for its missile attacks - Shmygal

The aggressor country continues its rocket and drone attacks on the facilities of the Ukrainian energy system.
Russia, while striking Ukraine, is trying to destroy the gas infrastructure in order to leave Ukraine without its own gas and cause a humanitarian crisis. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmygal during a government meeting on 21 February.
He pointed out that now the Russians were purposefully hitting gas production facilities.
The attacks take place virtually every day. But despite this terror, the situation in the energy sector remains controlled. I am grateful to our energy workers for this," Shmygal said.
Prime Minister explained that for this purpose the Russians had been particularly active in recent days in shelling the south of Ukraine, in particular, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Odessa.
As a result of Russian attacks, these cities were partially left without light and heating. But thanks to the work of power engineers, it was possible to restore heat supply and heal Mykolaiv within a day. Currently, the work of two boiler houses in Odessa has been resumed," the minister informed.
Meanwhile, Russia continues to blatantly lie that it is not attacking civilian critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
We would like to add that despite the Russian attacks, in general, Ukraine has schedules of power cuts, but only for business and industry. Scheduled blackouts for household consumers are not planned yet.
