Russia demands Ukraine arrest and extradite SBU chief Vasil Malyuk

The Russian Federation has officially named the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk, as responsible for the terrorist attack in the Crocus shopping centre near Moscow and demanded that Ukraine arrest and extradite him. This statement was issued by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The statement also mentions events related to the murder of Daria Dugina, the bombing of propagandists Vladlen Tatarsky and Zakhar Prilepin, as well as raids by the Russian Volunteer Corps.

The SBU reacted to the statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry. The SBU told Ukrinform that such reports about terrorism "sound especially cynical against the background of the anniversary of the liberation of Bucha and the atrocities committed there by the Russians".

Any words from the Russian Foreign Ministry are null and void. The Russian Federation can really only make one statement worth paying attention to - to the whole world to announce its defeat in the war and the withdrawal of occupation troops from Ukrainian soil. The SBU noted that the Russian Foreign Ministry, trying to appeal to the norms of international law, namely the Convention on Combating Terrorism, forgets that Putin is officially on an international wanted list, in particular, he is awaiting trial at the Hague Tribunal for kidnapping Ukrainian children.
