Russia can attack at any moment - Ignat
The Ukrainian military is ready for possible enemy attacks.
Russia is stockpiling missiles and kamikaze drones to launch massive attacks on Ukrainian territory. This explains the rare and pinpoint strikes by the Russians on Ukrainian regions. This was stated by the speaker of the Air forces of the AFU Yuri Ignat on air telethon.
Commenting on the night attacks of the Russians on Ukraine, Ignat noted that these are more often single strikes.
There were pauses they had, because not infinite ammunition, not infinite missiles. Therefore, they understand perfectly well and make such single strikes. Yesterday Iskanders, today X-59," the speaker said.
He also pointed out that a new massive attack of the enemy can happen at any moment, but the Ukrainian defenders are ready to repel attacks.
We are not that we are preparing - we are ready. Because 24/7 is the usual work of the Air Force throughout this war. There are no options here, we must expect at any moment any threat, any air target," he said.
On the night of 29 October, Russia attacked Ukraine with five drones and a missile. Air defence forces shot down all of them. Another Kh-59 missile was launched by the Russians in Mirgorod district of Poltava region. According to preliminary data, it did not cause serious damage and there were no casualties.
