Some families of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear workers have already been taken by the occupiers to the Rostov Region.

This was reported by Enerhoatom.

According to Enerhoatom, the Russian occupants want to remove about 3,100 people from Energodor.

First of all, we are talking about the removal of 2,700 employees of the plant who signed a contract with the fake Zaporizhzhya NPP Operator or another Rosatom company and their family members. At the same time, we remind you that ZNPP workers have been banned from leaving the city by the Rashists almost since the beginning of the occupation. Also, according to the General Staff of the AFU, some of the families of Zaporizhzhya nuclear workers have already been removed from Energodar to the Rostov Region of the Russian Federation.

This may exacerbate the pressing issue of having enough personnel to ensure safe operation of the nuclear power plant even in its current shutdown state.

Energoatom, for its part, is forming the necessary number of specialists capable of ensuring the safe operation of the plant in the first period after its de-occupation. Such a team will be formed on a rotational basis from ZNPP employees who are now in Ukrainian-controlled territory, as well as specialists from other nuclear power plants.
