Rocket attack on Kiev: death toll rises to 12, wounded nearly a hundred

Rescuers continue to remove the rubble of a destroyed apartment block in Svyatoshynskyy district of the capital. According to the head of the Kiev city military administration, Timur Tkachenko, the bodies of two more victims have been extracted from under the rubble. Thus, the number of victims has increased to 12. About it reported Tkachenko in his Telegram-channel, emphasising that the elimination of the consequences of the attack continues.

We will remind, on the night of 24 April Russia launched a massive strike on Ukraine with the use of missiles and drones. In Kiev recorded the destruction of civilian infrastructure and residential houses. According to the latest data, it is known about 12 dead and more than 90 injured, among them - children and a pregnant woman.

Svyatoshinsky district has suffered most severely. Rescuers continue search operations, including looking for two children. It is reported that mobile phone signals are still coming from under the rubble.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the attack included more than 200 aerial targets, making it one of the most massive in recent times.
