Rescuers of the State Emergency Situations Service dismantled more than 115 tonnes of destroyed structures of houses, with the involvement of service dogs.
Search and rescue operations continued for more than two days at the sites of damage caused by shelling of private residential houses in the town of Pokrovsk and the village of Rivne in Donetsk Region. This is reported by the State Emergency Situations Service.
One person was rescued from under the rubble, the bodies of three dead, including one child. At the site of the destroyed houses were carried out search and rescue work to identify eight more people, including four children.
Rescuers dismantled more than 115 tonnes of destroyed structural elements of houses, with the involvement of dogs of the search and rescue canine unit "Antares", - reported in the State Emergency Service.
A total of 55 people and 14 units of equipment were involved in the work. The dead were searched for with the help of dogs trained to search for remains.
Investigators are examining the found body fragments, forensic experts are taking biological samples and carrying out identification.
