Thanks to the intercepted conversations of the occupants, it was possible to identify another Russian military unit involved in atrocities against Ukrainian prisoners and civilians.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

The special service intercepted a telephone interview of an occupant with the call sign "Rafael" to a so-called military correspondent from Bashkortostan (Russian Federation). The military man, according to the SBU, serves in the 3rd battalion named after Marat Safin (7th company, 36th regiment of the 25th army with the rf, military unit 12274), and his interior Guzel Kudasheva works in the newspaper "Aurgazinskiy Vestnik". The woman regularly collects information about compatriots who are fighting against Ukraine.

An occupant told the journalist about how the Russians raped and killed a Ukrainian woman.

Our Bashkir boys got drunk, caught a woman in the city, raped her, killed her and burnt her body," the occupant told about the activities of his battalion.

The occupant said that there were four rapists. In turn, the Russian command turns a blind eye to such cases.

In addition, the Russian told how they torture and rape prisoners of war. However, the interlocutor asked not to retell the details, because "they are too scary".

"The most interesting" events from the life of the unit she regularly publishes in the local newspaper, as well as on her page "VKontakte". But there is not a word about the war crimes of the Rashists, only about their allegedly heroic "feats", - noted in the SBU.

The SBU also noted that it had launched the relevant criminal proceedings and was documenting the offences in order to identify and bring the perpetrators to justice.
