Moldovan president reveals details of Russian plans to destabilise country

Moldovan President Maia Sandu has confirmed that Ukraine has handed over to her a plan by the Kremlin to destabilise the situation in Moldova.
This is a short-term plan, which envisions sabotage involving people with military training disguised as civilians. They plan violent actions, including attacks on some state institutions and hostage-taking.
The politician said that Russia was planning to involve people from other countries to enter Moldova, such as citizens of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Serbia and Montenegro.
Sandu also said that under the guise of peaceful protests an attempt to seize power in Chisinau was being prepared.
According to the president, the Moldovan law-enforcement agencies are ready for such provocations and will prevent them.
