The Prime Minister of Hungary has repeatedly shown his pro-Russian position.

Polish Vice Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczynski criticized the position of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The Polish politician said that if Orban's attitude regarding Russia's war against Ukraine does not change, further cooperation between the two countries is impossible. It is reported by Novinky .

Kaczynski said he was "definitely negative" about Orban's refusal to condemn Russian leader Vladimir Putin for invading Ukraine and helping to arm Kyiv.

If Prime Minister Orban says he can't see clearly what happened in Bucha, I would recommend that he see an ophthalmologist. This is disappointing,” the vice-premier said.

At the same time, he expressed some sympathy for Orban's possible goals.

I believe that what Orban is doing is in the hope that he will play some role in efforts to end the conflict. But I think it's a dead end, - said Kaczynski.

Earlier, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, warned Hungary about the violation of sanctions against Russia. We are talking about paying for Russian gas in rubles. The EU stressed that if Hungary pays for Russian gas in rubles, the country will violate the sanctions that the EU has imposed on Russia.
