Poland says what would be the best security guarantee for Ukraine

The Ukrainian army has become one of the strongest in Europe during the years of war.
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, speaking about Ukraine's security in the event of a ceasefire with Russia, has said that the best guarantee of its defence in the future remains the Ukrainian army. The Polish diplomat said this in an interview with TVN 24.
In particular, the Polish foreign minister commented on the meeting of the leaders of the "Coalition of the resolute" held in Paris on Thursday. According to him, the participants discussed the prospect of deploying deterrence forces in Ukraine in the future.
Sikorski specified that Poland would take part in the coalition, but its military would not be directly on the territory of Ukraine.
Negotiations are taking place at different levels - both among staff representatives in the UK and at the political level in Paris. These ideas are still in the process of harmonisation," he said.
The Polish foreign minister stressed that the key guarantor of Ukraine's security remains its own army, which is characterised by bravery and modern equipment.
Ukraine has the largest army in Europe on its side, which has valuable combat experience and has mastered a new form of warfare with the mass use of drones," Sikorski stressed.
We would like to point out that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that as long as Ukraine is not in NATO, it needs a 1.5million-strong army to be able to confront Russia.
