Near Zhytomyr, a one-year-old girl was injured while playing with the fuse of a hand grenade. She was found in the field and brought to the house by a relative of the family. This was reported by the press service of the police of the Zhytomyr region.
The girl received bruises all over her body. She was admitted to a medical facility. Her life is not in danger, doctors say.
According to the conclusions of experts, it was a fuse for a grenade of the UZRGM type, which detonated and injured the child, the police said.
