Pakistan has called on Muslim countries to unite against Israel

Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has expressed full support for Iran.
Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has strongly condemned Israel's actions and appealed to Muslim countries to unite for the confrontation, which he called "a necessary step for the protection of Muslims in different regions of the world". This was reported by Dunya News TV channel .
During a speech at the National Assembly of Pakistan, Asif said that the Israeli strikes on Palestine and Yemen are part of a larger regional strategy and emphasised that what is happening cannot be considered isolated incidents. In this regard, he called on the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to urgently hold an extraordinary meeting.
Only a united and resolute stand of the Muslim community can stop further attacks," the defence chief said.
Asif recalled that Pakistan has never recognised Israel at the official level, and any private visits by Pakistani citizens to Israel do not reflect state policy.
He concluded his speech by calling on Muslim states to completely sever diplomatic ties with Tel Aviv, accusing Israel of involvement in the deaths of Muslims in various parts of the world.
Pakistan and Iran share a border more than 750 kilometres long and amid rising tensions, Islamabad has shown clear political support for Tehran.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Israeli Air Force planes will soon carry out attacks on Iran's capital Tehran.
You will soon see Israeli Air Force planes in the skies of Tehran - we will strike every facility and every target of the ayatollah regime," he said.
Netanyahu also noted that Israel has carried out significant strikes against Iran's nuclear facilities during airstrikes carried out over the past two days.
'We also struck a team of senior scientists who are in charge of these projects,' he said, adding that the strikes have delayed the development of Iran's nuclear programme by several years.
During the night and morning of Friday, June 13, Israel carried out a series of airstrikes on Iran, targeting Iran's nuclear programme facilities and the country's military leadership. On the evening of 13 June, Iran struck Israel and four waves of shelling were recorded. Air raid sirens went off in several regions of the country, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and other cities.
