The occupiers released the general director of ZNPP

The Russian invaders released Igor Murashov from captivity.

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, wrote about this on Twitter.

I welcome the release of Igor Murashov, Director General of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant of Ukraine; I received confirmation that Mr. Murashov returned safely to his family.

This information was confirmed by the press service of Energoatom.

It is known that the invaders threw him into the territory controlled by Ukraine on the evening of October 3. Now Igor Murashov is safe and is in the ZNPP External Crisis Center in Zaporozhye, the report says.

Recall that on September 30, 2022, the Russian military stole Murashov on the way from the station to Energodar.
