During the night and morning of 7 September, large-scale explosions were reported in several regions of Russia

There have been explosions in the Moscow, Rostov and Bryansk regions of Russia. Local authorities report that drones were shot down



According to the Russian Defence Ministry, on the night of 7 September, air defence forces allegedly shot down two Ukrainian drones in Rostov Region. One of the drones went down in the western part of Rostov-on-Don, while the second one went down in the city centre.

Rostov residents wrote that after the explosion, cars were burning and windows in houses were blown out.

Later, the local governor said that 2 UAVs had been shot down in the city, one fell outside the city in the western part of Rostov, the other in the centre, near 42 Pushkinskaya Street.

The mayor of Moscow also wrote that at 03:51 a.m. an attempted drone attack was foiled by air defence forces in Ramenskoye city district

There is no damage and victims at the site of the fall of debris, - said Sobyanin.

However, social networks report that near Moscow, not far from the Zhukovsky aerodrome after the explosion, the wreckage of the drone fell on the carriageway, breaking windows in several high-rise buildings. It is also noted that in the Moscow region after the work of air defence systems burned warehouse.

The governor of Russia's Bryansk Region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that a drone was shot down over the region's territory on the night of 7 September. It became the third Russian region where local authorities reported a UAV attack. According to the Russian official, the military allegedly destroyed the drone over the Bryansk region.

Russian media reported that due to "falling debris", the windows of the railway station building, the railway station square, and several cars were damaged.
