New air defence systems for Ukraine on the way - Syrskyy

Air defence systems purchased for Ukraine with European funds under the US-NATO plan are already being prepared for handover.
This was stated by the AFU commander in chief, Oleksandr Sirskyy, after a conversation with the supreme commander of NATO's Combined Armed Forces in Europe, US Air Force General Aleksus Hrynkiewicz. According to him, they discussed the US and NATO plan to supply air defence systems that will be used to protect Ukrainian territory and save the lives of civilians.
Syrsky expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte for their promptness in the issue of deliveries, stressing that the complexes are already on their way.
Patriot for Ukraine
Earlier, Donald Trump announced the transfer of 17 Patriot complexes to Ukraine, which will be financed by NATO allies. Additional support for Kiev in strengthening air defence systems was promised by participants in the meeting of the Contact Group on Defence of Ukraine in the "Ramstein" format.
The German defence minister confirmed his readiness to transfer two Patriot systems to Ukraine, but noted that this would be possible only if they are quickly replaced by other systems.
