Named a country that will help restore the Zhytomyr region

Estonia remains one of the countries actively supporting Ukraine.
Estonia is going to help Ukraine in eliminating the consequences of the Russian war on the territory of the Zhytomyr region. This was stated by Estonian Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets at a press conference with the Foreign Ministers of Lithuania, Latvia and Ukraine in Kiev, Interfax-Ukraine writes.
According to her, Estonia has already received information about the needs of Ukraine and plans to attract partners (in particular, financial partners and other countries) to restore houses, kindergartens and ensure the implementation of large infrastructure projects.
Liimets added that Estonia fully supports Ukraine's gaining the status of a candidate for EU membership.
We would like to acknowledge the great work that has been done in completing the EU questionnaire. We continue to support Ukraine in many ways, in every possible way ,” the minister said.
In addition, she recalled that Estonia has already received more than 35,000 Ukrainian refugees and continues to provide assistance to Ukraine - in particular, it recently allocated an additional 3 million euros for humanitarian needs.
