There was an explosion at a coke and gas plant near Moscow, a shop burned down

This was reported by the Russian media and the Emergencies Ministry.

According to them, there was an explosion in a shop of the Moscow coking plant in the town of Vidnoye near Moscow.

The area of the fire was about 200 square meters. According to the journalists, a pumping column with benzene burned down. So far, there is no information about casualties.

Moscow Coke and Gas Plant (Moskoks) produces coke, benzene and coal tar. The company is part of Mechel PAO.

At the beginning of 2023, the company was added to Ukraine's sanctions list.
